The Shadowgraph Puppeteer

There are two characters in my animation: WOMAN and OLD PUPPET. At the beginning of the animation, WOMAN seems to have free will and uses it to control OLD PUPPET. At this point, it seems as if OLD PUPPET’s fate is pre-determined. However, at the end of the story, OLD PUPPET obtains his own free will; additionally WOMAN realities that, just like OLD PUPPET, her actions are being determined by a greater force. My goal with this animation is to make people consider the balance between their own free will and the determinism found in our everyday circumstances.
